On the south side of Hong Kong is Aberdeen, one of the few places already settled when the British arrived in the 1840`s. Whilst not the tourist attraction it once was, its still worth a visit, if only to take a Sampan/Kaido ride around the harbour to get a closer look at the floating homes that still clog its waters.
