Aberdeen Country Park is located on the south end of Hong Kong Island in the area called Aberdeen, Hong Kong. Much of the south side of the island is under developed and retains more of the rural feel of the island before it was settled by the British.
The 423 hectare country park opened in 1931 and designated in 1977 is one of the oldest country parks in Hong Kong. The easy to walk flat paths take you to the upper and lower reservoirs, a nature trail and also St Clementi`s ride, which gives superb views of Aberdeen down below.
To get to Aberdeen Country Park, take bus 7 from Man Yiu Street (opposite the IFC mall on the way to the Star Ferry) and alight at the Shek Pai Wan bus terminus. Exit the terminus and go right until you reach Aberdeen Reservoir Road. Turn right and go up the hill for 5mins.
