Built on both sides of the Shing Mun River in the southern New Territories, Sha Tin is one of the more interesting places to visit. Previously consisting of arable land, made fertile by the sediment washed down by the river, this once productive land is now an ultra modern area. It is home to Hong Kong`s biggest race course.

To reach Sha Tin, take the MTR (or KCR East Rail from TST) and exit at Sha Tin.
