In the northeast New Territories in the New Town of Tai Po, you`ll find the magnificent Waterfront Park. Besides its peaceful gardens and many beautiful attractions, you`ll find the parks most outstanding feature, the 32.4 metre Lookout Tower. The tower was built to commemorate Hong Kong's reunification with its motherland in 1997. Waterfront Park cost HK$210million to build and is the largest park in the Tai Po district.
To get to Tai Po Waterfront Park, catch the KCR East Rail from TST MTR station and alight at Tai Po. Follow the signs to the park. The walk takes around 30mins.
