Opened in 2006, Hong Kong Wetland Park is a world-class conservation, education and tourism facility, located at the northern part of Tin Shui Wai, in Yuen Long, New Territories. The Hong Kong Wetland Park comprises a 10,000 square meter large visitor centre, Wetland Interactive World, and a 60-hectare Wetland Reserve. The Wetland Interactive World has themed exhibition galleries, a theatre, a souvenir shop, an indoor play area (swamp adventure) and a resource centre. The themed exhibition galleries with a gross floor area ranging from 250 square metres to 1,200 square metres showcase the importance of wetland on biodiversity, civilization and conservation.
To reach Wetland Park, catch the KCR West Rail from Nam Cheong MTR station, alight at Tin Shui Wai station and then get on the KCR Light Rail until you reach Wetland Park station. The park is over the road. Once you have visited the park, a bus just outside the park will take you back to TST or Admiralty.
