Where did you get the images from on Asia Card?
Yes. Look for the small icons next to each thumbnail. They are to the left of each thumbnail. Click this link for full size preview.
Can I view if a person has picked up an e-card?Yes. If you are a member, click the 'View Sent E-Cards' link. Click the info image on the right hand side to display a small menu. Choose the 'Pickup History' link.
How do I use emoticons?When you are filling out your e-card information, look for the link above the comments box. When you click this link the emoticons appear. Click an emoticon to add it to your e-card. You can add as many as you like to each e-card.
How do I preview music files?To preview the mp3 music files, click the little 'Preview' link by the music drop down menu on the e-card page. This launches a little mp3 flash player. If you decide to use some music, don`t forget to select it from the drop down menu. Just clicking to play music doesn`t add it to the e-card data.
How do I add images to my favourites?This feature is only available to members. Look for the little icon to the right of each thumbnail, or when actually viewing an e-card image, the small cross below the image. Click the icon and a small pop up will tell you the image has been added to your favourites.
Manage your favourites in your account area.
Reminders are useful if you want to be receive notification of any up and coming events, such as birthdays or anniversaries. On the specified date, I will send you an e-mail to remind you of your event.
Manage reminders in your account area. If you specify a reminder to be an annual event, a reminder is sent on that date each year.
No. Passwords are encrypted in the database and cannot be resent. Use the "Forgot Password" link on the account page or in the left hand menu.
Once a password has been e-mailed to you, it is recommended you log in to your account area and update it to something you can remember.
No, this feature is no longer available. Only images shown in the galleries can be sent as e-cards.
Do I have to pay to send e-cards?No, Asia Card is FREE!!
I cannot add any more addresses. Why?Most probably you have reached your allocated limit for address storage. Please contact me if you think it should be increased. A limit of 10 is imposed to prevent spam and/or system abuse.
How do I send an e-card?Look for the 'Send E-Card' link beneath any of my images, then follow the on screen instructions.
My friends aren`t receiving e-mails? Why?It could be that your friends have spam blockers in place which are preventing messages from Asia Card. To be sure of your e-card delivery, ask your friends to add 'asiacard.co.uk' to their allowed domains.
I`m not receiving reminder or notification e-mails. Why?It could be that you have a spam blocker in place that is filtering messages from Asia Card as spam and preventing delivery. Please add 'asiacard.co.uk' to your allowed domains (or whitelist).
How do I change my e-mail address?In your account area, click the 'Change Password' link. You do not need to re-verify your e-mail address. I would recommend you keep this up to date as its used to send you important system messages. These messages are rarely sent. I don`t use your address to send you spam.
How do I change my password?In your account area, click the 'Change Password' link. When you change your password, your current session remains active, but you`ll have to log in with the new password next time you visit the site.
How do I use the address book?If you are a member you can add your friends to your address book and send e-cards to multiple recipients. To access the address book, click the little icon on the e-card page. If you are not logged in you cannot load your address book.
If your address book loads, click the addresses you wish to use. You must specify at least 1 or use the default single boxes.
If you are a member and want to cancel your account, use the cancellation link on the first page in your account area.
Where did you get the images from on Asia Card?All the images (unless specified) were taken by myself during my travels to Asia starting 2001.
